Inverclyde’s annual Galoshans Festival is back for its highly anticipated 2024 edition and 10th Birthday!
Ready to enchant and entertain the community with a spellbinding blend of art, culture, and Halloween fun. This year’s festival promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors alike, showcasing the rich heritage and vibrant spirit of Inverclyde.
2024 welcomes 10 years of Galoshans Festival which will take place from 17th October – 2nd November, centred around Halloween traditions and its aim is to celebrate the wealth of art and culture that Inverclyde has to offer. This year’s lead partners are RIG Arts, Feral and The Beacon Art Centre. Supported with programming by Inverclyde Libraries, Watt Institution, Kayos Theatre Company, Greenock Rock Choir, Magic Torch Comics, TRANCND, Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, The Wyllieum and Inverclyde YMI Street Band.
Funded by Creative Scotland, the festival will feature a range of events and activities where locals and visitors can immerse themselves in a world of art installations, theatre, street performances, live music and much more! The festival will be rounded off with the return of the beloved Galoshans Street Party, a highlight of the festival, showcasing street bands, live performances and captivating street theatre!
For the 3rd year running, Galoshans Festival will be bringing you a curated takeover from Feral featuring a series of playful performances and curious encounters across the region.
