[dream] engine

by MHz and Hannah Finn

In Development 2020/2021

[dream] ENGINE harnesses the ethereal quality of dreams through immersive AV design, somatic choreography and the art of contortion. Visual theatre makers MHz and circus artist Hannah Finn unite to create a performance inspired by neuroscience, memory and surrealism.  [dream] ENGINE unmasks the neural networks and brain processes that create the spontaneous, non-sensical and other-worldly manifestations within dreams.

A digital sharing of [dream] ENGINE will be presented as part of Snapshots, a strand of programming at Manipulate Festival that presents works-in-progress at various stages of their development.
